Abstract:
A risk assessment of a photovoltaic standalone system is made according to the criteria IEC623052. Through calculating and analyzing the lightning stroke risk R2 and R4, the most effective protection measures (LPS and LPMS) for the object are selected according to the share of risk component R2 and the economical analysis of the measures (R4), so to reduce the risk to the tolerable level.
