Abstract:
The GNU build system， also known as Autotools， is a suite of programming tools designed to assist in making sourcecode packages portable to many Unixlike systems， which can not only reduce the difficulty in developing transplantable software， but also simplify software compilationThe deployment and improvement of the databaserelated software by using Autotools are described Two tools of Autotools， Auotconf and Automake， are discussed emphatically from the viewpoint of the developer， and the detailed application method is introduced Autotools can further improve and popularize the application of databases， and can be used in other meteorologicalrelated software for releasing and sharing software packages on the Linux/Unix platform
