Abstract:For the bad reception of polar orbit satellite, the impact of the signal intensity of the polar satellite on the demodulator and the corresponding counter measures are studied. According to the signal characteristics of the polarorbit meteorological satellite and the power level, as well as the circuit principle diagram of the satellite demodulator, the reasons for satellite reception level changing beyond the scope of the modulator are analyzed, and the countermeasure is put forward. The measured results show that the signal level can be controlled at an appropriate value steadily by adding an automatic gain controller and an attenuator before the demodulator. The abnormal reception of the HRPT (High Resolution Picture Transmission) data is effectively solved and the quality of the satellite cloud picture receiving is improved. The solution is applicable in equipment maintenance.
