The methods used in the studies of medical meteorology within its developing history are reviewed and classified into three categories: statistic methods, such as the corelational analysis, regression analysis, timeseries analysis; epidemiological methods, such as descriptive studies, cohort studies, casecontrol studies, and experimental epidemiology; toxicological methods, such as animal experiments and cellularmolecular experiments. Besides, the perspectives of these methods are also explored, and some issues that should be paid attention in the future study of Medical Meteorology are discussed. The research results in this field can be useful in the medical meteorological forecasting services.
